Terms of Use

By creating an account or participating in any Ring of Pursuit event, you agree to these Terms of Use, including the participation disclaimer (Section 8) and the photo & video terms (Section 5). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 15 years of age to use Ring of Pursuit. If you are younger than 15, you may only create an account and participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, confirmed in writing at the time your account is created. By creating an account, you (or, if you are under 15, your parent or legal guardian on your behalf) confirm that this requirement is met.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

During an active event, Ring of Pursuit requests access to your device's location and camera. Location is used for gameplay and deleted when the event ends. Camera access is used solely for QR code scanning; no images or video are stored from this access. You may deny these permissions, but doing so may prevent you from participating in the game.

By registering for and participating in an event, you agree that Ring of Pursuit, its organizers, and event partners may take photographs and record video of you during the event, and that this photo and video content may be used and published — including on our website, social media channels, and marketing materials — without further notice or compensation to you.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, contact the event organizer before the event begins so they can accommodate this where reasonably possible.

If you pay to participate in an event, your full name may be used internally to match and validate your payment. Payment terms specific to each event will be communicated at the time of registration.

You agree not to:

• Cheat, manipulate, or interfere with gameplay
• Harass or harm other participants
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these rules without refund.

Ring of Pursuit involves outdoor physical activity. By registering for and participating in an event, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of outdoor, physically active events, and you confirm that you are physically capable of participating and responsible for your own safety and fitness to participate. You agree to follow organizer instructions on the day of the event. We are not liable for injuries sustained during events.

If you are registering on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you accept this disclaimer and these Terms of Use on their behalf.

All content, branding, and game mechanics associated with Ring of Pursuit are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ring of Pursuit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or participation in any event.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
